Gillian
Fisher is a managing member and co-founder of Cataldo & Fisher, LLC.
She maintains a criminal defense and general litigation practice. Attorney
Fisher zealously advocates for her clients, working to obtain the
best possible outcome. She is an
experienced negotiator and an aggressive trial attorney, with experience in
both plea negotiations and jury trials. Ms.
Fisher is CPCS certified to try criminal cases in the District and Juvenile
Courts, and regularly appears in those courts. She is also a member of the Middlesex Defense Attorneys Private Counsel
Division in Woburn. In addition to her criminal defense practice, Attorney Fisher also handles civil litigation matters in both the state and federal
court systems. Prior to founding Cataldo & Fisher, Attorney Fisher maintained a private criminal defense practice in Woburn, Massachusetts.
Recent
cases and representative engagements include:
› Defended multiple clients charged with operating under the influence.
› Defended multiple clients charged with a variety of drug possession matters, including intent to
distribute controlled substances.
› Defended multiple clients charged with assault and battery, including assault and battery by
means of a dangerous weapon.
› Advised and defended clients with respect to Ch. 209A restraining orders and violations of
same.
› Defended mortgagor in lawsuit involving allegations of misrepresentation and unfair and
deceptive acts and practices.
Education
Ms.
Fisher graduated from Suffolk
University Law
School in 2005. During law school Ms.
Fisher received several awards and honors, including the
honors of Distinguished Best Oral Advocate and Honorable Mention Best Brief, and was awarded the Alexander Cella Scholarship.
Professional Affiliations
Ms.
Fisher is a member of several legal organizations, including the
Justinian Legal Society, the American Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar
Association and the Boston Bar Association. Ms. Fisher is a volunteer for
the Suffolk University Law School Admissions Committee, a member of the Suffolk
University Law School Pro Bono Partners Program, and has volunteered for the
Massachusetts Bar Association High School Mock Trial Program.
